molly mcguffin

i am a photographer, videographer, and video editor based in new york city. i write, direct, shoot, and edit my own narrative films, handle cinematography and photography for commercial clients, and specialize in post production across both photo and video with color grading and editing.

with over ten years of video editing, working across industry-standard editing platforms, i am dedicated to the art of post production — all because i wanted to be a youtuber when i was 13 years old. since then, i have gotten two degrees from the university of california, irvine (b.a. film and b.a. political science).

whether i am behind the camera or editing, i am passionate about storytelling and i’m drawn to projects that reflect real communities and lived experiences. i thrive in collaborative environments, while also being able to work just as efficiently as a one-man show.
